Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 2 May 1960

Mrs. Clara A. Rubach, 88, died at 4 a.m. Sunday at the Ionia Rest home where she
had been a patient since February 24.  She was born in Miamisburg, Ohio, January
23, 1872, the daughter of Jacob and Rebekah Gebhart and was married to Amil
Rubach April 11, 1910 in Ionia by the late Rev. Succop.

Mrs. Rubach resided at 635 North Jackson street until 1946 and 10 years with her
sister, Mrs. Effie Vizard in Grand Rapids.  The past [unreadable] years she had
lived at 933 West Lincoln Avenue.  She was a former member of St. Johns Lutheran
Church of Ionia and transferred to Redeemer Lutheran church in Grand Rapids.

Mr. Rubach died in 1945.  Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Effie Vizard of Grand
Rapids; three nephews and one niece.

Funeral service will be held at the Boynton funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with
the Rev. Theodore Timler officiating.  Interment will be at Highland Park
cemetery.
