She was a lifelong Ionia resident, born December 30, 1892, the daughter of Ludwig and Bertha Passow Hass. She attended Ionia school after which she worked for a short time at Sorrosis Garment Factory before marrying Otto Rubach, June 22, 1915 in Ionia and made their home on Jones street where she was born. In 1913 they moved to her present residence on North Jackson. Mr. Rubach preceded her in death in July 9, 1959. Surviving is a daughter Mrs. Francis Larson of Ionia; and two grandchildren. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church and the Mission and Charity circle, Ladies aid and Lutheran Ladies auxiliary. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Boynton-Leddick funeral home with Rev. A.R. Gallert officiating. Temporary entombment will be at Highland Park mausoleum. Committal services will be at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for St. Johns Lutheran Church.
