Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Dec 1968

A lifelong Ionia resident, Minnie Rubach, 83, of 609 North Jackson died Thursday
at Ionia Manor where she had been a patient since spring.  Born in Ionia,
January 29, 1885 she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Rubach.  For
several years she was employed by the Fashion store and also Stevenson’s
department store, both of Ionia.  She also worked for several years at Ypsilanti
Reed Furniture company after which she did sewing and alterations in her home. 
A member of St. Johns Lutheran Church she also belonged to the Mission and
Charity circle.

She leaves one niece and one nephew of Ionia and a nephew of Carson City.

Funeral services will be Saturday at Boynton-Leddick funeral home.  Rev. A.R.
Gallert will officiate and burial will be at Highland Park cemetery.
