Mrs. Rudd’s sudden illness compelled her to be taken to a hospital at Dowagiac last Monday. The following day she was operated on because of a complication of diseases after which she was thought to be slowly on the road to recovery, when an unexpected change for the worse resulted in her death. The body was brought home Sunday evening by Mr. and Mrs. Stewart, of Dowagiac, and was taken to her home in Berlin. Besides her husband, Clinton Rudd, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Steward, of Dowagiac, and a son, George M. Rudd, of Berlin Township. Besides these to mourn her loss are four sister, Mrs. Charles Rudd of Berlin; Mrs. George Cross of Portland; Mrs. Arthur Vandecar of Washington and Mrs. Biglow of Grand Rapids, who is at present visiting Mrs. Arthur Vandecar in Washington, and a brother, George Liverton, of Lake Odessa. Funeral services will be held at the home in Berlin on Tuesday at 1 pm and at the Berlin Center church at 1:30 pm sun time, File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/r/rudd12459nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
