Ionia County News, 24 Mar 1949

Charles H. Rudd, 87, Ionia, Route 4, died at his home Thursday afternoon, March 
17.  He was a retired farmer and was born April 7, 1861, in Ohio.  He was well 
known here.  Surviving are his wife, Anna, one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Walters of 
Detroit; two sons, Clinton B. of Newport Beach, Calif., and Jack of Ionia.  
Funeral service was held from the Berlin Methodist church and burial was in Letts 
Cemetery.  Rev. Hunting officiated.
