Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Apr 1965

Mrs. Anna Rudd, 98, one of Ionia county’s oldest citizens, passed away at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Walter, Thursday morning.  Mrs. Rudd was born 
in Berlin township September 16, 1866 and was a life-long resident of Ionia 
county.  She and her late husband, Charles, for many years operated one of the 
area’s largest farms until his death several years ago.

The deceased is survived by two sons, Jack of Ionia route four, and Clinton of 
Corna-Del-Mar, Calif., in addition to Mrs. Walter, a resident of Saranac.  She 
is also survived by six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one fifth 
generation descendant.

Services will be at Berlin Center church at 1:30 Saturday afternoon with 
interment at Letts cemetery.  The body will repose at Morris funeral home in 
Saranac.
