Born May 28, 1900 in South Haven, daughter of Clifford & Carrie Wright Terrel. Member of Berlin Center United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary of Saranac, Ladies Aid Society & Ionia County Extension. An Accomplished pianist & a Red Cross Volunteer during World War I. Married Mr.Wheeler Scheiern in 1919; he died in 1953. On October 19, 1966 she married Mr. Elijie Jack Rudd, who survived. Also surviving are five daughters, Mary Klahn, Saranac, Ruth Ingraham, Portland,Janet Lower, Holland, Elsie Voorheis, Saranac, Irma Smith, Sheridan; three step-daughters, Janice Shields, Joy Butcher, Karen Morrow, all of Ionia; a son Harold W.Scheiern, Ionia; a step-son, Leon Rudd, Ionia; 36 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Joseph in 1977, a daughter, Eunice in 1987 and a brother. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m Tuesday at Berlin Center United Methodist Church, with Rev. Scott Otis officiating. Interment will be in Saranac Cemetery. Visitation today (Monday) from 2-4 & 7-8:30 at Lake Funeral Home, Saranac.
