Kenneth W. Rudolph, 59, of 1163 North State road, died Monday afternoon at his 
home after a lingering illness.

He was born February 26, 1917 in Grand Rapids, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William 
F. Rudolph.

He had owned and operated Rudolph Heating and Plumbing in Ionia since 1950. 
Before coming to Ionia, he was employed in Grand Rapids.

Mr. Rudolph married Lucille Dunn in Indianapolis, Indiana September 18, 1939.

He was a member of First Presbyterian church in Ionia, a former member of the 
Elks and a former member of the Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Kenneth W., jr. of Jackson; three 
daughters, Cynthia Bloemers of Grand Rapids, Carla Archbold of Lansing and 
Cheryl Harkness of Ionia. Two brothers, LaVerne of Holland and Robert of Long 
Beach, California; two sisters, Viola King of Grand Rapids and Vivian Berg of 
Holland and five grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services were Thursday at 3 pm at First Presbyterian church in Ionia 
with Rev. George Douma officiating.

Cremation was Tuesday.

A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society and First 
Presbyterian church.

Arrangements were made by the Myers-Roetman funeral home in Ionia
