Lloyd Nelson Rueckert, 57
Lloyd Rueckert passed away Friday March 12, 2021, unexpectedly at Sparrow 
Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, due to injuries sustained from a fall earlier in 
February.

Lloyd was born on Dec. 7, 1963, in St.Johns, Michigan, to Clifford and Donna 
(Myers) Rueckert. Lloyd grew up and resided in Clinton County and surrounding 
areas his entire life. He was part of a large tight-knit family full of people 
who loved him deeply. Lloyd had various jobs through the years. He could be a 
bit of a jokester at times, he had a playful energy, a gigantic heart and held a 
very loyal love for dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family 
and was ofter seen around town walking a dog. His presence will be missed by 
many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Brenda Thomas and Lori 
Race.

Survivors include his daughters McKenzie Holton of Ionia & Andrea Armstrong, his 
best friend Roxie (Pit Bull) of Lansing, brothers Ron Myers of Elsie, James 
Forrest of Lansing, Dan (Amanda) Glaspie of Ionia, Mark Rueckert of Lansing; 
sisters; Kimberly Darnell fo Muir, Sandra (Robert) Hill of Lansing, Michelle 
Anes of Lansing and several nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of life will be held on a later date.
