RUEHS
Ralph Edgar Ruehs age 78 of Ionia,MI passed away Monday, November 1, 2021. He 
was born on January 15, 1943 in Ionia, the son of Otto and Helena (Tael) Ruehs.

He was a graduated of Ionia High School, Class of 1961. Ralph married Susan 
F.Casey on April 11, 1965 in Oxford, MI. He owned and operated Rueh's Garage in 
Ionia for 56 years. He was a member of St.John's Lutheran Church in Ionia. Ralph 
loved big toys like wreckers and loaders. He enjoyed going to auctions. In his 
younger years he liked to travel.

Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Susan F.Ruehs of Ionia: sons Robert 
Ruehs and Boberta Hall of Ionia, Rodney (Lynn) Ruehs of Ionia and Ryan Ruehs of 
Lyons;;grandchildren Amanda Ruehs and Daniel Edwards of Ionia, James, Sally, 
Matthew Ruehs of Lyons, Casey (Brian) Desotell of Greenville, Michael Ruehs and 
Kristen Harwood of Ionia, Dustin Ruehs and Katlyn Hall of Lyons and Eric (Kara) 
Ruehs of Ionia; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Roger (Joanne) Ruehs of 
Wisconsin and Ron "Otto" Ruehs of Belding.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Lake Funeral Home inIonia on Friday, November 5th 
from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A private service and a memorial service will be hed at a 
later date.Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Zion Food
