FORMER LAKE ODESSA WOMAN BURIED HERE THURSDAY
Mrs. Catherine Smith-Ruhno of St. Joseph Died Tuesday. Leaves Sister in lake
Odessa.

Mrs. Catherine Ruhno, who was formerly Miss Catherine Hummel, a daughter of the late
John Hummel, died at her home in St. Joseph Tuesday. Her sister Mrs. Lottie Buche of
this village has been helping to care for her the past few weeks.

The funeral will be held at St. Joseph, Thursday (today), and the body will be
brought to lake Odessa or burial Friday at 1 o'clock p.m.

Mrs. Ruhno leaves her husband Edward Ruhno, a son Forrest Smith by a former husband,
and a grandson Franklin Smith of grand Rapids, a brother Rollie Hummel of St.
Joseph, besides her sister Mrs. Buche.
