Michael A. Ruid, 55, of Lowell formerly of Saranac passed away Feb. 22, 2012 in 
Lowell. He was born May 30, 1956 in Belding, the son of Dale and Patricia Ruid.

He owned and operated a Salvage Yard in Saranac for many years. He served in 
the Army 1973 to 1976 on the Tank Corp.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Jeffers of Sheridan; brothers, Ken Ruid 
of Florida, Ron (Kathy) Ruid of Lowell, Tim (Lori) Ruid of Ionia and Dale Ruid 
and Angie Sitzer of Saranac; step-brother, Ron Jeffers of Sheridan; two uncles, 
Jerry Hibbard of Saranac and Bill Hibbard of Muskegon; special friend Alvin 
Daggett of Saranac; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale; brother, Tom; and sister, Patsy 
Ruid Parks.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday March 3, 2012 at the River of 
Life Church in Saranac. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. Online
