Lake Odessa Wave - Friday March 9, 1900

Jasper Rumbo Dead
Jasper Rumbo, the 17-year-old son of Mr.and Mrs. Wm. Rambo, deceased, died at 
Harrod, Ohio, Thursday.The remains were brought to this village Tuesday noon by 
M.L. Foght, who was called to Ohio by his death, Mr.Foght acting as guardian of 
the Rumbo estate. Deceased had always lived in Lake Odessa and vicinity and 
after a siege of sickness with typhoid fever, last fall, left for Ohio to visit 
his brother and sister and recuperate.He has not been entirely well since his 
sickness, and finally succumbed to a disease which puzzled those in 
attendance.The funeral was held Wednesday forenoon, form the U.B. Church in West 
Odessa, Elder Maurer officiating, and the remains interred in the Clarksville 
cemetery.
