The township of Danby will receive an annuity of $1000 per year for the upkeep 
of the Danby cemetery according to the will of Mr. Clorinda Rumfield who died 
three years ago.  The annuity will start now on account of the recent death of 
John Rumfield recently to whom Mrs. Rumfield left a life interest in her 
property.

According to the terms of the instrument Mr. Rumfield was to have the house as 
long as he lived and the furniture was to be divided among distant relatives, 
who at the suggestion of Lorenzo Webber agreed to leave the furniture in the 
house so long as Mr. Rumfield lived.

Other bequests were made to friends and relatives and several amounts were 
allotted for the care of cemetery lots and the erection of memorials to 
relatives of Mrs. Rumfield.  The estate was valued at $12,000 in person 
property and a farm situated south of Sebewa corners valued at about $10,000.

Funeral services for the old gentleman were held from the last residence last 
Thursday afternoon and burial was in the cemetery endowed by the provisions of 
the will.
