Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, Oct. 20, 1962

Mrs. Emma Rumisek, 74, of 1164 Yeomans street died early Saturday morning at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital where she was a patient two and a half days.

She was born January 4, 1888 in Chicago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John 
Honsa. She was married in Chicago to John M. Rumisek July 20, 1914 and 
following their marriage moved to Ionia where they have resided the past 48 
years.

Mrs. Rumisek was a member of SS. Peter and Paul church and Rosary society.

She is survived by her husband, John M.; two sons, Lawrence Rumisek of Ionia, 
and Fred of Torrence, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Kilmas of Berwyn, Ill., 
and Elsie Rumisek of Ionia; two grandchildren; three sisters, Ella Honsa and 
Mrs. Mae Valenta of Berwyn, Ill., and Mrs. Agnes Cawley of Hollywood, Calif.; 
and one brother, Joseph Honsa of Berwyn, Ill.

rosary will be recited at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Myers funeral home with 
funeral mass at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church Monday at 9 a.m. Burial will 
be at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
