Mr. Rumohr was born July 8, 1887, in Greenville. He had been a resident of Belding since 1925. He was a former manager of the Belding hotel and had been a custodian at the hosiery mill. In recent years he was custodian at Belding high school and Ellis elementary school. Mr. Rumohr was a former deacon of First Congregational Church and a past commander of Hugo Fales Post No. 203 of the American Legion. He was a World War I veteran with overseas duty. His wife, Marjorie, preceded him in death in 1966. Surviving are two sons, Reverend John E. Rumohr Jr. of Belding and David H. Rumohr of Lansing; one sister, Mrs. Roy Stokes of Fort Meyers, Florida; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Huffman Funeral Home. Reverend Wilford Wood and Reverend Robert Lilley will officiate. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery, Ionia county.
