Lake Odessa Wave -Times - December 5, 1924
    Francis Marion Bunyan was born January 4, 1863, near Elkhart, Indiana.  He came
to Michigan when real 
small and has spent the rest of his life in this community.
   He was married to Margaret Cox in 1886.  To this union were born seven children,
two dying in infancy.
   There are left to mourn his loss his wife, his daughters, Mrs. Claudia Glass,
Jeanette and Kathryn Runyan 
also two sons, Leo and Clair.
   One brother and one sister, four grandchildren and many other relatives besides a
host of friends.
   He has been gradually failing since he had a fall last summer.  He has been able
to be about and his 
conditions was not considered serious until a few days before his death.
   Funeral services were held Friday at the home.  Burial in Lakeside cemetery.

   We desire to thank the neighbors and friends for their kindness and 
assistance during the illness and at the death and burial of our husband and
father.
