Leo C. Runyan, 79, died Saturday at his home at 1402 Virginia, Lake Odessa.  
Born in Lake Odessa August 29, 1891, he was the son of Frank and Margaret Cox 
Runyan.  He was a graduate of Lake Odessa high school in 1911 and attended 
Michigan State agricultural college in East Lansing two years.  April 28, 1917 
he was married to Edna Baker.  He was a life member of Lake Odessa F&AM 
lodge.  He owned and operated a boat livery in Lake Odessa many years and also 
operated a TV repair business.

Surviving besides his wife, Edna, are a daughter, Mrs. Richard Housler of 
Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Taylor of Dimondale, and Mrs. Kathryn 
Gardiner of Lake Odessa; brother, Clair of Torch Lake.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel in 
Lake Odessa.  Rev. Gary Lyons of Lake Odessa Congregational church will 
officiate and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
