RUSH, SR. LAKE ODESSA-Floyd D.Rush Sr., 80, of route 3, Lake Odessa, died Sunday morning at Pennock hospital where he was a patient for three weeks. He was born May 28, 1898 in Six Lakes, the son of Otis and Maude Kenyon Rush and attended Lake Odessa Schools. He married the former Clara Belle Adams February 2, 1920 in Lansing. They lived in Lansing until moving to Lake Odessa in 1948. Mr.Rush was employed at Duncan Lumber company,Hagar and Cave Lumber Company and Capitol City Lumber Company, retiring in 1963. He was a life member of VFW post 701, Lansing and a member of Faith Bible Church in Lake Odessa. Survivors include his wife, one son, Floyd Jr.of Charlotte, three daughters, Mrs.Bruce (Beatrice) Fuller, Mrs.Laurence (Beverly) Bennett and Mrs.Robert (Delores) McGee of Lansing, two sisters, Mrs.Pearl Hensley of Mansfield, Missouri ad Mrs.Everett (Wilma) Cleveland of Harrison, 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. Services aa Wednesday at 1 pm from the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel in Lake Odessa with Rev. Richard Sessink officiating. Burial is in Deepdale cemetery in Lansing under the auspices of Lansing VFW post 701.
