The Lake Odessa Wave, Thursday, March 24, 1932
For the last two or three years Mr. C. A. Rush as he was known has made his 
headquarters at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ora Cooley on Sixth avenue.  He 
has owned and operated a renovating outfit and did general repair work.  This 
winter his health has not been very good and last week he was taken with 
pleuropneumonia and death claimed him Monday. 

The funeral was held at the Cooley home Wednesday, Rev. J. A. Beardsley 
preached and Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Mourer sang.  Burial was at Lakeside beside 
his son who died in infancy.  Besides his sister he leaves one brother, Lester 
Rush of this place.
