The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, April 11, 2006
Etta (Rose) Rosella Rushford, aged 63, of Lyons, passed away April 9, 2006 at 
her home. She was born October 7, 1942 in Clare the daughter of Clifford R. 
and Ruth M. (Shellenbarger) Thayer.

Rose is survived by her loving son Bill Rushford and Bobbi McDonald of Lyons; 
brother Laverne and Cindy Thayer of Lyons; sisters Addie Devers of Lyons, 
Norma Jean Thayer of Hubbardston; three grandchildren, several nieces and 
nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister Minnie Jeffrey; brothers, 
Henry Thayer, Clifford Thayer, Bobby Thayer and brother in law Wilford Devers.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday at Lyon's Cemetery. 
Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution in Rose's name to Ionia Area 
Hospice or Family Choice.
