KENNETH MERLE RUSNELL
Kenneth merle Rusnell, known to many as "Skip", 80, passed away at her home 
on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 in Portland. He rested peacefully in his home with 
his wife, Alice of 36 years. They had a love like no other and it was their 
wish to b with each other till God called them home and they were able to do 
just that. Skip did pass first so that he could be there for her to enter 
eternal life.

Skip is survived by his loving wife, Alice; and his daughters, Kelly Curtis 
and Wendy Pikarski (husband Phil); and her children, Jeff Drake (wife 
Denise), Sue Mason, and Pam Drake; and several grandchildren and great 
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stacy; 
sisters, Artis and Arla; and brothers, Dale, Jay, ad Karl. He was a loving
husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all.

Skip loved fishing and hunting as many of you have heard his stories of the 
like. He worked in construction most of his life, but was also a member of 
the military and a firefighter with Ionia County for several years. He was 
alway there to lend a hand if ever asked.

A special thank you to the Hospice and home care staff, for their loving 
care.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
