Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, Sat., July 28, 1923
Mrs. Martha Russel, long-time resident of Bushnell, passed away at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. "Lon" Eckert south of Vickeryville Wednesday.  Besides Mrs. 
Eckert, she leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Rhoda Umphenhour and Mrs. Grace 
Fillmore and a son, John Russel, of Bushnell. Mrs. Cyrena Graham of Palo is a 
sister.  Funeral services for Mrs. Russel to be held at the Quarterline church 
in Bushnell.  Burial in Palo cemcetery Friday afternoon.
