Keith A. Russell, 71, of Portland passed away Aug. 16.  He was born in 
Hesperia Aug. 5, 1932 the son of Harry and Lillian (DeYoung) Russell.  Keith 
retired from Fisher Body as a relief man in 1982 and was a Veteran of the 
Korean War, serving in the United States Army.  He was a member of the 
Portland VFW Post #4090 and the Portland American Legion Post #129.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kristin Russell.  Surviving 
are his wife, Miriam J. (Knapp) of Portland; daughters, Kimberly (Ed) Stank of 
Portland and Kerry (Mark) Michaud of Lake Odessa; grandchildren, Jason Stank, 
Alicia Russell, Nicole Stank, Eric Russell, and Marissa Michaud; brother, 
Charles (Eva) Russell of Also; sisters, Phyllis Condon of Lowell, and Marilyn 
(Vic) Vanhouten of Howard City.

Services were conducted by John Hulett Aug. 21 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral 
Home, Portland.  Interment of ashes followed at Portland Cemetery with 
Military Graveside Honors being provided by the Portland VFW Post #4090.  
Contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Neuroscience Program.
