Lake Odessa Wave, 16 Mar 1900

The funeral of Mrs. Louisa Russell was held at the Congregational church, 
Monday forenoon, Rev. Skentelbury officiating.  The remains were interred in 
Lakeside cemetery, and were followed to their last resting place by a large 
circle of relatives and friends.  Mrs. Russell died on Saturday, March 10, at 
her home north of town.  She was born in the state of New York, on Dec. 15, 
1831, was married to Joseph C. Russell, on July 3, 1831, her husband preceding 
her to the spirit land but a few months before.  She leaves a family of three 
children, and many other relatives and friends to mourn her demise.
