Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Aug. 7, 1991


SARANAC- Norene (Nell) Adgate Russell, 74, died while camping with relatives in 
Hillman, Mich. Aug. 5.

She was born Sept. 20, 1916, in Saranac to earl and Beulah Smith Adgate.

She attended Olivet College, Olivet. She was formerly a librarian at north 
Manchester Public Library and was currently employed at Wabash Carnegie Public 
Library, Wabash, Ind. She was a member of the Round Table Literary Club and the 
Art Class in Wabash.

She was formerly married to William T. Russell of Wabash.

She is survived by two daughters, Dana Russell of Somerset, N.J. and Sally 
Crouch of Seymour, Ind., a son Hugh Russell of Toronto; and six grandsons.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Wabash 
Carnegie Public Library.

A memorial has been established for the Wabash Carnegie Public Library Gift 
Fund.
