Pewamo – Helen G. Russell, 65, of 501 S. State St., died Saturday morning at
Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital following a long illness.  She was born Nov. 30,
1915, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Harvey and Belle Lohr.  She married Seth
Russell Oct. 3, 1937, and lived in Belding for several years before moving to
Pewamo in 1950.  She was a retired employee of Gibson’s in Greenville.

Surviving are her husband, Seth; one son, Thomas of Pewamo; and five grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Muir Presbyterian Church, with
the Rev. Robert Larsen of North Plains Community Church and the Rev. Howard
McDonald officiating.  Burial will be in Muir Cemetery.  Mrs. Russell will
repose in Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir until noon Tuesday.
