Helen M. Russell, 85, of Greenville, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at Spectrum
Health United Memorial United Campus Long Term Care, Greenville.  She was born
in Sidney on March 30, 1920, the daughter of Edward and Hazel Clifford Soss.

Helen was retired from Federal-Mogul Corp., where she worked for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Russell, in 1973; and brothers
and sisters, Ruth Soss, Eloise Soss, Marian Filkins Chambers, Betty Barnes,
Norman Soss, Ed “Bud” Soss.  She is survived by her sisters, Alice and Ernie
McMeeken of Greenville, Jean and Richard Turner of Troy, Ohio; and many nieces
and nephews.

Funeral and committal services are 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hurst Funeral Home,
Greenville, with her nephew, Mr. Philip Bell, officiating.  Burial is in Rest
Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  There will be no visitation.  Memorial
contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
