Beverly A. Russell, 74, of Greenville, died at home on Saturday, January 10, 
2004.  She was born in Lansing on June 7, 1929, the daughter of Willard and 
Zella Long Krepps.

She was a graduate of Lansing Everett High School in 1948 and was a member of 
the VFW Auxiliary of the Lester J. Sitts Post of Sheridan and worked at 
Gibson’s (WCI) for 22 years.  

She was married to Richard W. Russell on October 30, 1948, I Greenville at the 
Methodist parsonage.  

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Loree Holt, in 1980; sister, Donna 
Casner; brother, Roger Krepps; and sister-in-law, Norma Laidlaw, in 2003. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard Russell; their son, Jeff and Priscilla 
Russell of Allentown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kaylyn Holt and fiancé Sean 
Fisher, Barry Holt, Jeremiah Holt; great-grandchildren, Kevin Schriber, Sean 
Fisher II; sister, Shirley Burghdoff of Charlotte; uncle, Russell and Zelda 
Krepps of Kalkaska; in-laws, Raymond and Eloise Russell of Georgia, Karen 
Krepps of Mason; and nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with 
Carl Gruno officiating.  Burial is in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.  
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
