Charles Russell, aged 83 years, well known local man, died at the home of his 
son, Guy Russell, north and west of the city, Sunday morning at two o’clock, 
following a long illness.  Mr. Russell had been a lifelong resident of Otisco 
township and this city and his death marks the passing of another one of the 
original pioneers.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock from the house with 
Rev. Ellis, pastor of the Congregational church officiating and burial was in 
Otisco cemetery by the side of his wife who passed away many years ago.
