Sentinel-Standard - Monday, March 29, 1982

LYONS- Bernard C. Russell, 81, of 206 King St. Lyons, died early Saturday at 
Kent Community Hospital.

Born Nov. 11, 1906 in Indiana, they made their home in Lyons following their 
marriage.

Russell operated a grocery store in Lyons until his retirement in 1975. He was a 
charter member and past president of Lyons Lions Club, and served as council 
member president, and assessor for the village of Lyons. 

He is survived by his wife, a son, Bernard C.F. Russell of Lyons and one 
daughter Mrs. Diane Carr of Portland. Nine grandchildren also survive. One son 
preceded him in death. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir. 
Burial will be in Muir Cemetery. 

There will be a scripture prayer service at Hull Memorial Chapel Monday at 8 
p.m.
