Lake Odessa Wave -  December 13, 1945
          CLAYTON RUSSELL DIED AT IONIA MONDAY
   Clayton Russell, 79, and old resident of Lake Odessa, died at the Ionia County
Memorial hospital in Ionia, 
Monday, after a long illness.  He had lived on his farm northeast of town for many
years and was a devoted 
member of Calvary United Brethren church, never missing attendance as long as he
could possibly get there.
   He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Estevan Russell who were some of the earliest
residents of this village.  He 
leaves a brother Pliny Russell.  The funeral will be held at the Wortley & Baine
chapel Thursday at 2.
