Peter Russell 64 Passed Away Tuesday
Peter Estaven Russell, 64, former local resident, passed away Tuesday afternoon 
at the Ionia county Infirmary, where he had been a resident for the last two 
years. His parents were Pliney and Fanny Russell, and he had spent most of  his 
life in the local and Alto areas.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs.George (Alta) Burrows and Mrs.Arthur (Gladys) 
Benedict of Alto, Mrs.Raymond (Fern) Hovinga and Mrs.Ormand (Catherine) Lyons of 
Lowell, Mrs.Donald (Eileen) Malinowski of Grand Rapids and Mrs.John (Dorothy) 
Quiggle Jr. of Auburn , New York, a son, Frederick of Nashville, a sister, Mrs 
Edward (Alta) Wiley of Windsor, Ontario and 24 grandchildren.

He reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be held 
Friday at 1:30 with burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Rev. Lawrence Runyon will 
officiate.
