Mrs.Russell was ambitious and accommodating and had many friends. She was a hard worker and a true Christian and brought up her children in these ways. The husband and father died a few years ago which leaves the children with neither parents but with a knowledge of work. It is said the children will continue to work the farm. OBITUARY Annie Louisa Klepfer was born in Hastings, Michigan, May 5, 1876 and passed away at her home near Lake Odessa, August 4, 1928, age 52 years, 1 month and 28 days. She was united in marriage with Albert E.Russell December 23, 1899. She leaves to mourn her departure, five children; Mrs.Isabella Hatt, Clyde, Claude, Avis and Lagreta and one grandson, Herbert Hatt. For a number of years she has been a member of the Church of the Brethren, west of this place. The funeral service was held from the Calvary U.B. church, conducted by her pastor, Rev.R.I. Humbred and Rev.M.H. Dawson, of the Calvary church. R.W.Goodemoot and Mrs. Wm.Tietz accompanied by Mrs.Thomas Johnson furnished the music. Burial in Lakeside cemetery. Two of her girlhood schoolmates of forty-five years ago attended the funeral together. They are Mrs.Frank Gilliland ad Mrs.Mary Hubbard. They all attended the Darby school.
