Killed In Fall Down Dark Stairs.

Mrs. Catherine Russell, a pioneer resident of Smyrna, died as the result of a 
fall down stairs at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cusser, Belding, Wednesday 
evening.  Mrs. Russel was visiting at the Cusser home when she walked into the 
cellar stairway and fell to the bottom where she was found by Mrs. Cusser on 
searching.

Mrs. Russell was unconscious when found and died two hours later without 
regaining consciousness.  Her skull was badly fractured by the fall.  She was 
80 years of age and one of the oldest residents of Otisco township.
