The Ionia County News, Thursday, December 20, 1945
Clayton Russell, 79, a life-long resident of Lake Odessa and vicinity, died at 
Ionia Memorial hospital Monday, after a long illness.  He was a member of the 
Calvary U.B. church and had purchased the home near the church several years 
ago after leaving his farm in Odessa township.

Surviving is a brother, Pliny Russell, of Lake Odessa.  Funeral services were 
held Thursday at the Wortley and Baine chapel with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
