IONIA- Julia Reglin Rutter, 75, formerly of 116 W. Washington Street, Ionia, 
died early Sunday morning in Belding Christian Nursing Home.

She was born June 15, 1909, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Matthew and Nannie 
Johnson Roche. She was married in August 1928 to Steven Reglin, he died Oct. 6, 
1954.

Employed at the Ionia State Hospital for 17 years, she was also formerly 
employed at Trojan Knitting Mills. She was a member of the Ionia First Christian 
Church, the Cart 'N Lobby guild of Ionia County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and 
of the Ionia chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. 

She is survived by one son, Charles Reglin of Ionia and one daughter, Mrs. Gene 
(Shirley) Horn of Ionia; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two 
brothers, Allen Roche of Stanton and Clifford of Grand Rapids. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Ionia First Christian 
Church. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery. 

The family will be at Roetman Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

A memorial has been established for the Ionia County Unit American Cancer 
Society; in the care of the funeral home.
