Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Dec. 1997

CARSON CITY- Marian Louise (Fenn) Sabin, 79, of Matherton died Monday, Dec. 22, 
1997 at her home. She married George Sabin on Nov. 24, 1945 in Ionia. She was a 
member of the Hubbardston American Legion Auxiliary Powt 182.

She is survived by sons, Francis (Bud) and Donna Sabin of Matherton and Jim 
Flick of Gowen; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Vera 
and Wendel Peiffer of Hubbardston. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, George M.  Sabin; parents, Fred and 
Mary Fenn; three brothers and seven sisters; and special friend, Zeke Misner.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec, 24, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Lux 
and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City with Rev. Reid Martin officiating. 

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 
the funeral home. Interment will be in East Plains Cemetery in Matherton. The 
family would like to thank the Hospice from Clinton Memorial Hospital in St. 
Johns for the wonderful care given to Marian. Memorials may be made to Clinton 
Memorial Hospital in St. Johns.
