Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 May 1944

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary V. Sackett, 82, who died Monday at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. George Miller, in Lyons, following an illness of several
months, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shaw-Rivett funeral
chapel in Muir.  Rev. Faulkner Mercer, pastor of First Baptist church, Lyons,
will officiate and burial will be in Lyons cemetery.

Mrs. Sackett was born August 26, 1861, in Ohio and moved to Michigan when a
small girl.  She had lived for many years in Lyons.
