Ionia County News – Thursday, 3 July 1930

Burial will take place today for Mrs. Caroline A. Sage, 67, who died Tuesday 
at the home of her son Ulmont, at 642 Bayard Street.  The services will be 
held first from the Bayard street home at 2 o’clock and then from the Church 
of Christ at 2:30.  Dr. Paul L. Stewart will officiate.  Interment will be in 
Highland Park cemetery.

Mrs. Sage had been confined to her home for several weeks by cancer.  Up until 
the time she employed at the City Steam laundry; had worked there for 30 years.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. R. Easterling; two sons, Ulmont, of Ionia, 
Samuel, of Lyons; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Evans of Vestaburg; Mrs. Olive 
Kentner of Ionia, and three brothers, William Bell, north Dakota; Nelson Bell, 
Birmingham, and Edward Bell, Trout Creek.
