Emma E. Sage, aged 92, of Saranac passed away Dec. 29, 2009.

She was born Sept. 24, 1917, in Muir, the daughter of Arvine and Flora (Keyes) 
Buck. She married Wayne Sage June 21, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1960. 
Emma graduated from Muir High School in 1935.

She is survived by children, Doug (Anita)Sage of Saranac, Ron (Sandie) Sage of 
Saranac and Pat (Marilyn) Sage of Saranac; grandchildren Tammi and Brian Granum 
of Saranac, Jill and Steve Hoople of Saranac, Kurt and Alisha Sage of Lowell, 
Kristine and Mark Stedman of Ada, Wayne and Karen Sage of Clarksville, Todd 
Dawson of Grand Rapids, and Travis Dawson of Oregon and 15 great-grandchildren.

Emma was preceded in death by one brother, Harry W. Buck in 1969.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, noon at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac 
with Mr. Al MacDonald officiating. Interment Balcom Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and relatives Saturday 10 a.m. - noon prior to the service at 
the funeral home. In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to the 
Saranac Fire Department. Online condolences may be made at
