Forest B. Sage, 82, of Sheridan died May 30, 2012, at Spectrum Health United 
Campus in Greenville.

Forest was born on May 30, 1930 in Belding, the son of Forest L. and Catherine 
(Barton) Sage.

He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1949. He proudly served 
his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Forest attended 
Shiloh Community Church, was a member of American Legion Post No. 203 in 
Belding and retired as a supervisor at Extruded Aluminum Corporation in 1991. 
He will be greatly missed. He married Caroline Morris in Belding on December 
11. 1954.

Forest is loved and survived by his wife Caroline and their children, Jeffrey 
(Janice) Sage of Austin, M.N. and Kenneth (Janet) Sage of Belding; his 
grandchildren, Michael Sage, Matthew (Janie) Sage, Kevin (Stacey) Sage and 
Lindsay Sage; his great-grandchildren, Chase, Grace, Lucas and Oliver; his 
brother and sister-in-law, Friend (Faye) Sage of Belding; brother-in-laws and 
sister-in-laws, Alice (Robert) Childs of Belding, Robert (Elizabeth) Morris of 
Sheridan, Inez Welch of Grand Ledge and Marian Morris of Shiloh; several 
nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded by his parents.

Funeral services will be noon Monday, June 4, 2012 at Shiloh Community Church 
with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Private committal prayers will be at Rest 
Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. and from 6 
to 8 p.m. Sunday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding and one hour 
before the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Shiloh 
Community Church or Alvah N. Belding Library. To leave a message of condolence
