Myrtle L. Sage, 95, of Muir, passed away November 20, 2014 at Heartland Health 
Care Center in Ionia, just after her 95th birthday.  Myrtle was born on 
November 19, 1919 in Muir, the daughter of Edward and Lula (Loper) Lewis. 

She graduated from Muir High School with the Class of 1938 and later owned and 
operated the Clip and Curl Beauty Parlor in Ionia for many years.  She enjoyed 
camping, fishing and wintering in DelRio, Texas for 30 years.  She was a member 
of the Sheridan VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  

She was married on November 14, 1942 to Marvin Sage and he preceded Myrtle in 
August of 2012.  She was also preceded by her parents and one sister Ethlyn 
Lincoln.  

Myrtle is loved and survived by her son and daughter in law; Richard and Lynn 
Sage of Belding, her grandson; Bryon Sage and two great grandsons; Riley and 
Mason. 

Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday November 22, 2014 at 
Oakwood Cemetery, Muir with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  No visitation will 
take place.  Memorials may be given to the Belding Lions Club.  Envelopes are 
available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has 
been entrusted.
