SAGE, WAYNE ADELBERT:

   IONIA DAILY SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, Thursday, December 15, 1960, page 5: 
"Deaths - WAYNE A. SAGE, 46, died unexpectedly at 9:45 Wednesday night at his
home on Bennett road, route one, Saranac.
   He was born in Lyons September 10, 1914, the son of Mr and Mrs George Sage.
   Mr Sage had spent his entire life in Ionia county and attended Murphy and
Spaulding schools.  He was an auto mechanic and owned and operated the present
farm where he has resided for the past seven years.  Prior to that he had lived
in Ionia 3(?)2 years.
   Mr Sage was married in Ohio June 21,1941 to Emma Buck who survives him. 
Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Douglas and Ronald, and a daughter,
Marilyn, at home; his parents, Mr and Mrs George Sage of rural Ionia; and a
sister, Mrs Floyd (Arlene) Trumble of Fenwick.
   Funeral service will be held at the Phelps funeral chapel Saturday at 2 p.m.
with interment at Balcom cemetery.
   The family will be at the chapel Thursday and Friday evenings from 7 until 9
o'clock to receive friends and relatives."

SAGE - Funeral service for Wayne A. Sage, 46, of route one Saranac, who died
Wednesday night at his home on Bennett road, was held at Phelp funeral home
Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Howard Bull of Saranac officiating.
   Bearers were Merle Dorey, Ford Mason, William Hecht, Oliver Fedewa, Ernest
Wright and Donald Lower.  Interment was at Balcom cemetery.
   Persons attending from away included Mr and Mrs Howard Heintzelman and Mr and
Mrs Raymond Fitch of Hastings; Mrs Emily Carter, Mr and Mrs Richard Sprague, Mrs
