Ionia Standard - Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1909

Friends of Mrs. Lewis Sage were shocked to learn of her untimely death at Ionia 
last Saturday.

Addie Scott was born at Lansing, July 13, 1887, and died at Ionia at the exact 
age of 22 years and 4 months. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Scott. In 
1897, the family came to Lowell, where she attended school, making many friends 
by her bright and winning ways. Three years ago she was united in the bonds of 
holy matrimony to Lewis Sage of Ionia, where she resided at the time of her 
death.

Deceased leaves one little daughter, Miss Pansy, only 18 months of age, and 
father, A. A. Scott besides four sisters, Mrs. Lottie Ketchum of Portland, 
Oregon, Mrs. Panay Clark and Misses Katie and Pearl Scott of Lowell.

Among those from out of town here for the funeral of Mrs. Louis Sage on Tuesday 
afternoon, were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gibe, Wm. Gibe and wife, and Jacob Gibe and 
wife, all of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. A. Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Hobart Clark and Miss 
Clark of Lowell.
