Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday October 23, 1958

LEWIS SAGE DIED SATURDAY
Lewis M.Sage, 85, retired farmer, passed away Saturday afternoon at Butterworth 
hospital, Grand Rapids where he had been a patient for 15 days. He moved here 
from Isabella County in 1942 and is a native of Ionia County.

Surviving are two daughters Mrs.James (Lucille) Elkins of Mt.Pleasant and Mrs 
Ora (Verl) Walkington of route 1, Portland and 12 grandchildren. His wife Iva 
passed away in 1950.

Funeral services were eld Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral Chapel with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Rev. J. Lawrence ward Officiated.
