Mrs. Sage leaves one adopted son, Harry, whose home is in Cleveland. Efforts to locate him have not as yet been successful. The family came here from Canada about 1855, the husband, Henry Sage, being one of five sons of Allan Sage, a soldier of honor in the Revolutionary war. Mrs. Sage had one sister, Mrs. Almira Skinner of Palo, her only brother having died a year ago. After the death of her husband, who was a farmer, she moved to Ionia and has since lived here. She had a fine strong personality and led a beautiful life, attracting to herself many friends. She was always a Methodist and belonged to the Rebekah lodge. Mrs. Annis R. Sage, widow of H. A. Sage, aged 74 years, died at her home, 430 Dexter street this morning. The funeral notice will be given later.
