WAYNE D. SAIN 1938-2017
Wayne D. Sain, 79, of Ionia and formerly Belding, passed away Tuesday evening 
April 25, 2017, at Spectrum Health Butterworth campus in Grand Rapids.

Wayne was born January 30, 1938 in Alma, the son of Clifford and Aunda 
(Fitzgerald) Sain. He was married in 1958 in Carson City to Mary Inbody.

Wayne operated his own business, Sain Drywall, from age 18 until he retired 
in 2006. He liked video games, movies and fishing and was an accomplished 
archer but most of all he loved kids. Wayne helped at camp Wah-wah-tay-see in 
Greenville teaching and helping the kids with the horses and fishing and also 
was a foster grandparent through the Eight Cap program for nine years.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Mary; 4 daughters, Cathy (Mike) Pearson of 
Stanton, Teresa (Jim) "Crusz" Kruszkowski of Belding, Krista (Crig) Dipphouse 
of Hudsonville and Debbie Sain of Ionia; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren; 2 sisters, Elaine Proctor of Belding and Jeannie Sain of 
Ionia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry.

Funeral services for Wayne will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12 noon 
at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger 
officiating. Interment will be in Fairplain Township Cemetery. Visitation 
will be Saturday one hour before the service, from 11-12.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eight Cap Foster Grandparent 
Program in Greenville or DeVos Children's Hospital Cancer Center.
