Clare Frederick Saladin, 73, of Belding died Wednesday evening July 11, 2007 at 
Spectrum Health United Memorial United Campus in Greenville.  Clare was born on 
August 27, 1933 in Reed City the son of Joseph and Adalide House Saladin.  He 
was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic church, Belding and in earlier 
years worked at   EBI Breakthru in Belding. 

He is survived by his sister, and brothers, Emerita Saladin of Rockford, Donald 
Saladin of Rothbury, Ligoria and Ann Saladin of Florida, Pete and Charlene of 
Belding  and sister in law, Shirley Saladin of Grand Rapids.  Clare is also 
survived by several nieces, 
nephews and many special friends. Clare was preceded by his parents, his 
brother, Leonard Saladin and sister, Ethel Taylor.   

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 
Belding with Fr. Fred Brucker presiding.  Interment will follow  in the 
Resurrection Cemetery, Grand Rapids at 2:30 PM.  Visitation will be Sunday 
evening from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 7:30 at Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Joseph Church or 
Metron of Belding Activities Fund.
