Joseph Saladin, 82, of 203 W. State St., Belding, died Saturday at a local
nursing home.  Mr. Saladin was born July 23, 1900, at Reed City.  He was a
member of St. Joseph’s Church, Belding.

He is survived by his wife Adelaide; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Ethel) Taylor,
Belding, Mrs. Leon (Emerita) Saladin Rockford; five sons, Peter and Clare,
Belding, Leonard, Grand Rapids, Donald, Lansing, Ligouri, Tampa, Fla.; three
sisters, Mrs. Alice Elliott, Bloomfield Hills, Mrs. Justina Andres, Lincoln
Park, Sr. Mary Emerita RSM, Grand Rapids; 39 grandchildren and 33
great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding. 
Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Church, Belding, Father
Charles R. Dautremont officiating.  Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery,
Wyoming.  Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
today, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
